"Stand Still and Let God Move"

When it came time to write another monthly letter, a song came to mind. The title of the song is "Stand Still and Let God Move". This song has meant alot to me over the past five years because of personal things I went through. During that time in my life I did not know what to do to make things better. I prayed for God's wisdom and asked for him to let me know what to do. One day I was driving down the interstate on the way to work and on the radio this song came on. I felt right then and there that God was speaking to me through that song. The first verse goes like this;

The father has a plan though its hard to see it now, you feel your walking all alone but he is there no doubt, when the storm around you raises and your tossed to and fro, when your faced with lives decisions not sure which way to go, "Stand Still and Let God Move".

Just that line would have been enough for me to understand what God was trying to tell me. I did feel alone and felt like I was getting beatin by a hurricane from every side and there was no way out. But God told me to stand still and he would take care of me. Then the second verse came and went like this;

When the enemy surounds you and the walls are closing in, when the tide is swiftly rising and you wonder where he's been, friend there never was a moment that his arms werent reaching out, you can rest asure and be secure God is moving right now.

After that verse I was shouting down the interstate. Even though I thought I was alone the whole time and I was wondering when God was going to answer me, He was already moving in my situation. He was always there just waiting on me to Stand Still and let Him Move. The Chorus just tips off this great song that can help anyone through anything they might be facing. Here is how it went;

Stand still and let God move, Standing still is hard to do, when you feel you have reached the end he'll make a way for you, Stand Still and Let God Move.

I pray that this song will help you as much as it has helped me. If you are going through any struggle or heartache in your life, Just Stand Still and Let God Move. He is always there for us no matter what we are going through. I felt that there was no way out and that I was at the end of my life and nothing good was going to happen, when I listened to him and just got out of his way he got me through it. If you are going through anything just pray this prayer and think of this song.

Lord Jesus thank you for all you do
Lord you know the struggles I face
Help me to stand still and let you move
Thank you for your Love and Mercy
